Volunteer of the Year Award goes to Vivien Raggett for her work with Contact the Elderly

Vivien Raggett, one of our TMS members, has won the prestigious Marsh Award for 'Volunteering in Support of Older People'. She has coordinated the Harrow Group of Contact the Elderly since 2007 and despite getting TM, continued with the help of her husband Alan (on occasions from hospital), to ensure that the once a month tea parties for her group continued without interruption. To quote the award givers, 'Vivien and her husband truly deserve this Award for their sheer dedication, determination, hard work and contribution to the work of Contact the Elderly and the difference they make to the lives of so many people in their community.'
