The Transverse Myelitis Society (“we”, “our” or “TMS”) takes the privacy of all visitors to this website very seriously, and therefore sets out in this Privacy Policy our position regarding certain privacy matters. The TMS will share your membership details with relevant members within the TMS community including Support Group Leaders, volunteers and third parties who support the TMS by helping to organise and deliver its activities and service to you, only in pursuit of our charitable objectives. The TMS promotes research into Transverse Myelitis and related disorders as we believe this will ultimately benefit our members. Data that we collect may be analysed as de-identified data (ie, individuals are not identifiable), and only aggregate results reported and used to learn more about TM and related disorders, and to make reasonable conclusions about the population that may be helpful in designing registries and clinical trials.
Storing your personal data
Data that we collect from you may be transferred to locations outside of the European Economic Area for processing and storing. Also, it may be processed by staff operating outside the European Economic Area who work for us or for one of our suppliers. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.
