Giving in memory ofDonating money in the memory of a loved one is an enduring way to commemorate someone’s life. If you are organising a funeral or memorial service and would like people to make donations in lieu of flowers, you can request that people either make their donations online through the Donations page or by sending a cheque to the TMS. Once we have received the donations, we will let you know the total amount raised in memory of your loved one. Thank you for thinking of us at this time.

Legacy givingAfter your family and friends have been provided for, leaving a legacy to the TM Society is a wonderful way of supporting our work and the donation will be exempt from inheritance tax.
If you decide to provide for a donation to the TMS in your will, please make sure that you include the full name of our charity – 'Transverse Myelitis Society' – to ensure your gift reaches us. We are very grateful for gifts of this kind. While we do not need to know that you have named our charity in your will, we would be pleased if you did let us know by dropping a line to the Treasurer. Sample wording is available here.

Donations in lieu of a gift
If you would like to encourage people to make a donation in celebration of a birth, birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement, or another occasion in lieu of gifts, you can request that people either make their donations on line through the Donations page or by sending a cheque to the TMS. Once we have received the donations, we will let you know the total amount raised. Thanks for sharing your celebration with the TM Society.
