![]() Over The Wall is a national children's charity whose purpose is to provide life-changing experiences to children and young people aged 8-17 who are affected by serious and life limiting illness and conditions. They do this by offering free activity camps, specifically developed to foster coping, resilience, self-esteem and confidence. The programme extends to the whole family during the family weekends. These camps offer much needed recreation and family time, and an opportunity to meet other members who may be facing similar challenges. The 1st Regional TM Clinical Care Symposium was held at Johns Hopkins on 15 June 2013.
The symposium was a day for patients, family members, and caregivers impacted by the diagnosis of Transverse Myelitis (TM) and other rare neuro-immunologic disorders on a day-to-day basis. There were several great short presentations on all aspects of TM given by doctors and specialists with both clinical and research backgrounds. Click here to get to the YouTube playlist. |
