Welcome to the Transverse Myelitis Society

Neurological conditions can be extremely isolating.  We are here to help and make sure that all those with TM feel as though they have a friendly ear to listen to them. If you have just been given a diagnosis of TM, there is a page on this website called Newly Diagnosed. 

The TMS website has been designed specifically for those who are interested in Transverse Myelitis and its associated neurological conditions, ADEM, NMO and others. Whether you have the condition yourself, care for someone with TM or are a medical professional with an interest in TM, this site will be of benefit to you.  

On our website you'll find news and helpful information. You can download our TMS Magazine, become a member, connect with us via a Support Group near you ,follow us on social media or help us raise awareness by going to or hosting an Awareness Day event (more information on this to be posted shortly!).

When trying to find something specific on the website, don't forget these tips:

• Find your way quickly to frequently used pages with the Quick Links at the top and bottom of every page.
• Enter a word or phrase in the search box. Search will display a page with all the results from the TMS website
