AWARENESS & FUNDRAISING PACK INFORMATION
Help with organising an Awareness Day event or activity
2015 is a very special year for the TM Society because it’s our 10th Anniversary! We have some exciting awareness and fundraising ideas for this year, and have produced a new Awareness & Fundraising Pack to help all those who want to get involved.
TM Society Awareness & Fundraising Pack
There are lots of things to help you with your awareness and fundraising events in the new TM Society Awareness & Fundraising Pack. Most of the information can be downloaded free of charge, and promotional items like posters, magazines, t-shirts, keyrings and wristbands are available to order and will be sent to you by post. Printed copies of the Awareness & Fundraising Pack can also be posted out.
What's in the Pack?
The Awareness & Fundraising Pack includes the items listed below. Items that need to be sent to you by post will have to be ordered from our shopping page. Everything else is downloadable. If the item is in orange, that means that the download is available NOW. If the item is still printed in black, that means it's not ready yet. We'll announce when things become available on Facebook and Twitter pages and through the Awareness Day Newsletter.
How do I get a copy of the Awareness & Fundraising Pack?
Most of the information items can be downloaded from list above. However if you would like to order a paper (hard) copy of all items to be sent to you by post please email us.

If you’re a foodie, why not do a cake sale, or invite people round for dinner and ask them make a donation for their meal?

Family activities always go down well, so look into getting together with your local school or club to organise an event for all the family and get the children involved.

If raising awareness amongst health professionals is your top priority, why not hand out TM Society leaflets and magazines, or set up an information stall with a friend or family member at a local hospital and be on hand to share your experiences. If you would prefer to write, download the Introductory Letter and drop your local a line to your local health and social care professionals to help them understand how they can help people living with TM and related conditions.

If you’re a carer, check if your local carers group is planning something because Awareness Day 9th June falls within Carers Week 2015.
A simple idea for celebrating Awareness Day itself is to wear a TM Society ribbon pin, t-shirt or wrist band, or change your Facebook photo to the TM ribbon logo for the day, to make your colleagues and friends aware. Order yours here.
