Information we collect
In pursuit of our charitable objectives of providing you with information, support and advice and raising the awareness of the public and medical professions of Transverse Myelitis, we may collect and process the following data about you:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website.
- Information provided to us when you communicate with us for any reason.
Use of your information
The information that we collect and store relating to you is used primarily to enable the TMS to provide you with information and support, and to inform you about TMS activities. The TMS promotes research into Transverse Myelitis and related disorders as we believe this will ultimately benefit our members. Data that we collect may be analysed as de-identified data (ie, individuals are not identifiable), and only aggregate results reported and used to learn more about TM and related disorders, and to make reasonable conclusions about the population that may be helpful in designing registries and clinical trials.
