Thank you for your interest in contributing to the work of the Transverse Myelitis Society (TMS). The TMS is hugely grateful for any donations, large or small, towards its work. Donate by cheque or postal order using our Postal Donation Form. If you are unable to print this form, just send a cheque made payable to 'Transverse Myelitis Society' with your name and address to: Gift Aid: How you can increase your donation at no extra cost: For every £1 you donate to the TMS, we can reclaim the tax to increase your donation to £1.28 through the Gift Aid scheme. There's no extra cost to you - all you have to do is make a Gift Aid declaration. This simply means that you confirm that you are a UK tax payer and that you are happy for us to reclaim the tax. All donations qualify - large or small, regular or one-off, and whatever the method of payment. If you are using our Postal Donation Form, just sign the Gift Aid declaration at the bottom of the form. Otherwise you can print out and complete this Gift Aid Form and enclose it with your cheque. If you don’t have a printer and therefore you are not using either the Postal Donation Form or the Gift Aid Form, you can include the following statement with your cheque: “I am a UK taxpayer and would like the Transverse Myelitis Society to reclaim tax on this donation and on any donations I may make in the future”. In any case, you only have to make the Gift Aid declaration once, as your declaration will apply to any future donations.” You may donate with credit or debit card via the GiveNow.org website, operated by CAF, the Charities Aid Foundation. Most credit and debit cards are accepted through this site. CAF will process the donation. A 5% charge will be deducted from your gift to cover administration costs and credit card fees. Donations through GiveNow may be anonymous if preferred. If you live in a country with currency other than pounds sterling, just use your credit card and type in the amount of pounds sterling you wish to give and your bank will change it. Use www.xe.com to find the exchange rate. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also increase the value of your donation by ticking the Gift Aid declaration on the GiveNow.org website. An extra 28p is added to every £1 you donate - at no extra cost to you. Charity Registration no: 1108179 |
