The Poole TM support group
was formed in October 2005 and meets quarterly on a Saturday between 2 - 4pm.
Meetings
are held on the last Saturday of January, April, July and October. The group
meets at St George's Church Hall, Oakdale, Poole, DORSET, BH15 3EU.

A recommended donation of £2 each meeting provides for refreshments of tea/coffee and homemade cakes
during the interval.
We are a large, friendly group of mixed ages from 18-80. Around 20 - 30 attend most meetings; however when we
have a guest speaker this usually pulls a larger crowd! Partners and friends are welcome to attend. Our members have varying degrees of disability, from Transverse Myelitis, Optic Neuritis, Neuro Myelitis Optica and Multiple Sclerosis, but all can benefit from sharing their experiences with other TM sufferers in the realisation they are not alone.
The church hall is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of free parking, available in the church car park.
Next Meeting
July 31st 2010 - we will have an annual review of our group and have guest speaker Janet Chierchia from Carers Together an opportunity to talk about the caring role and how the charity can help. We will finish our meeting with a strawberry cream tea!
